If your company is in the construction, caretaking/security or meat industries, the amount of pre-funding of the invoice is restricted to 50%. Article 30b of the law of 27 June 1969 on workers’ social security imposes an additional obligation on your debtor. The debtor is required, at the time of paying the invoice, to check with the ONSS, the Belgian Social Security Department, and the Belgian Ministry of Finance, to see whether your company is late in making payments to these institutions. If it is, your debtor is legally required to pay up to 50% of the invoice total directly to the ONSS and/or of the Belgian Ministry of Finance. That is why you are only able to finance 50% of your invoice amount.
